We offer a wide variety of riding lessons for all ages and standards.

Starting with our tiny tots from age 2 upwards who start on the lead rein for half an hour progressing to half an hour in the Beginner lessons gradually going onto the full hour. We now offer 1/2hr lesson followed by 1/2hr trek.

All our lessons are kept to riders of the same standard. Please see table below as to which of our Options you are. Please do not over exaggerate - if you are not the correct standard, you will not be allowed to join that activity and may forfeit your lesson.

OPTION 1 - Child Beginner/ half lesson/ half trek - complete beginners up to rising trot (half/half – aimed at occasional rider or young children).

OPTION 2 - Child Beginner - Beginners learning rising trot, riding without a leader and starting to canter.

OPTION 3 - Child beginner - Must be competent in Rising Trot and improving canter.(will be advised when ready to move up)

OPTION 4 - Child Beginner Next Stage - Must be competent in rising trot and canter, starting to ride all types of horse/Pony(will be advised when ready to move up).

OPTION 5 - Child beginner Plus - Must be competent in trot and canter, starting to canter and riding all types of Horse/Pony.(will be advised when ready to move up)

OPTION 6 - Child beginner Next Stage - Suitable for riders in option levels 3,4 & 5. (will be advised when ready to move up)

OPTION 10 - Adult Beginner Evening

Adult complete beginner up to rising trot

OPTION 11 - Adult Beginner Evening

Adult beginner starting to canter

OPTION 12 - Adult Beginner Next stage

Evening - Walk, trot, improving canter

OPTION 13 - Adult Evening -Competent in Walk, trot canter

OPTION 20 - 1 1/2 Hour Lesson Including Jumping - Beginner Plus

OPTION 21 - 1 1/2 Hour Lesson - Including Jumping Novice

PRIVATE RIDING LESSONS

We offer private riding lessons for both beginners and advanced, for dressage and for jumping. These lessons are tailored for your own needs. All private lessons are available for you to book online.

If coming to us for the first time please pick a riding lesson that you think is possibly less advanced than you are – this will let us assess you safely as it is not enjoyable or safe for you to be in a lesson that is too advanced.
